anyone gonig to bothwel car show thinking about going on sat 8th.they have a huge fleemarket of parts a killer 50/50 drawlast year was 14 thousand each way. see if we can set a meeting place and all enter at same time
I am planning on attending. Not sure if I am bringing the bird. That is a long drive there and back in one day. If I bring the bird I may plan to drive to London on the Friday and then home Saturday night.
Just bought a sweet little 2006 G6 GTP hard top convertible so I may test drive it and come as a spectator.
the wife & I are coming with the bird ,don't know where we can meet, does bothwell have a timmies? we probally leave home around 8:30 -8:45 which would put us i bothwell 10ish.
gates open at 8 till???? later you get there the harder it is to get a spot in the shade.they dont have a timmies but they do have a restraunt in bothwell.its a friends restraunt so ill find out how early they open.i asked my wife if she was going and she asked me witch wife i was asking lmao.i told her the line was busy for the 1rst one.
last year we parked 1 row away from the swap meet area and were close to the used car corral and the band (cartunes).it was a awesome spot because they didn't cram us in as they do in the centre, the guy beside us brought a portable shade shelter 8x8 and set it up between us and invited us to use it.
I subscribe to Old Autos and in the events section it says the theme this year is Pony cars. I also was listening to the radio and heard that Pony cars get in free. Don't quote me but it would be nice, eh! I may go but its too early in the week to know for sure. I hope I can.
Thanks Mark.:) Nice car! Will you be going to Bothwell too? That would be a long trip. It would be nice if we could top the five of us who met up at Listowel. That was a fun time. By the way...

okay we went to bothwell,it started to rain just as we got there,we met up with richard(blackbird) and entered together.well it rained all day didnt let up once.50/50 take was $4200 ,$10,000 less than last year! the only ones who made any money were the vendors selling rain ponchos.lol we still had a good time there were approx a dozen fgf. you found out today how waterproof you're car really was.
I went as a spectator. There was one guy I swear was building an ark. Saw your birds and went by a couple times but I guess you were off looking for higher ground. Looks like a good show and I will plan to attend next year as a participant.
My record for the past three years still stands. I have never been to a show when it didn't rain. I will give you a list of the events I am not attending so you can plan accordingly!!!
