My tranny has been leaking for a while so I replace pan gasket a few weeks ago. I found out my pan wasn't leaking but it looks like it's leaking around the imput for my shifting linkage? Is the gasket in there hard to replace and what does it require?

I had that leak too plus a few others, had a mechanic fix it....wasnt expensive ,so it cant be that hard

My housing was wallowed out there for some reason. The seal wouldn't fit snugly. So, my mechanic used 2 seals, back to back, and some JB Weld. Doesn't leak....there...anymore.
