Hey guys, its been almost 3 years since I have been on here and things are still the same for me. Still have my 3 keeper cars but have bought and sold a 1967 400 4 sp, and a 68 400 4 sp since posting 3 years ago. I'm wrapped up in a hotrod build thatis taking up my free time but my birds are all running good so they arent taking up much of my time except for driving the hell out of them. My convertible is doing really good and is getting driven the most, my car known as the daily driver (which isn't anymore) pretty much just sits as I racked up 536,000 miles on it and then restored it. The car that I built just for fun is still being driven just for fun and man is it fun!!!! Its either gas pedal floored or brake on!!! LOL. I actually got a call in the spring this year and these people making a movie wanted a car in it and they chose my most beat up but also most set up (suspension and drive train) car. I also built a big barn two years ago for all my cars etc. As I was saying I am into my hotrod right now and its alot of work. 1929 Whippet with a 1940 front axle and suspension, 1946 dodge truck grill, 1938 COE head lights, different roof made from a different car, home made decklid, chopped 3", channeled 4", Z'd frame 4", homemade frame, engine was all 100% rebuilt and machined by me, and I am making my own exhaust and intake manifold. Its cool though.
You can check out my movie clips at www.youtube.com/sixt8bird It has a way outdated video on my Whippet and barn etc but the movie clip and the details of that car are pretty up to date. I have been very busy personally but sort of slow in the Construction business.
Whippet looks great, have to get the run down when I come and pick up those gears . Great garage too, that is my first project when I get this d@mned house sold and get into an acre...
