Sorry, but it's not possible to "shut off the internet". Not with satellite, fiber optic and other technologies available. It wouldn't take long before a whole black market internet came online.

I saw a show on TV that talked about how many Americans are retiring outside of the US. The numbers are stagering. It was a two hour show and showed places where Americans were moving to etc. I was shocked at the numbers and they say they see this increasing ten fold over the next 10 years. Panama was one of the top 10 places. People that are moving there are living like royalty, buying ocean front homes for a quarter of what they can buy here...

One thing about Costa Rica (Which I've thought about)I know a couple of surveyors that have gone down there to check things out land law wise and it's a little unstable for Americans (YANKS) to own land. They have a law (ha ha) that they can revoke us from owning land at will. But heck you can rent a village for the price we pay month on mort.'s I say we all go to gether and get enough garage space for everyone!!!! What a life, huh? Any takers??
