I'm going to be breaking in a new camshaft in a couple of weeks. I'll be using GM EOS and 30wt motor oil. What kind of camshaft lube would you all recommend. I certainly don't want to wipe out a new camshaft..

any good quality lube will do. just use a lot and soak the lifters well.

When I broke in my first cam, I also used the GM EOS, and 30 WT oil...and 2 "doses" of the cam manufacturoer's break in lube. Worked perfectly. Load the cam and lifters up with the break in lube.

If you want a bit of extra insurance you might consider removing the inner valve springs and breaking it in without them. It's kind of a long process because you have to reinstall them and reset the valve all over again but loading in another new cam and lifters is no fun either.
