I just had this scanned from an old slide. It's a brand new 1969 Grand Prix in as-delivered condition. The car was actually a model SJ with a 428, but someone at the factory put a model J emblem on the right side and the proper SJ emblem on the left. Note the strange tires. Remember when cars had no right side mirror? I remember not being able to see over the dash very well at 6 years of age.
I'll try to find photos of our Parisienne we had when I was a kid. By far the coolest car we ever owned. My oldest brother recalls being able to easily smoke the tires the length of a block and I remember mom always telling dad to slow down when we went on holidays. Canadian built so it had a chevy power plant.
Sadly, it's long gone. He bought that instead of an Expresso Brown 1969 Firebird 400 coupe. He thought the Firebird was too small and overpowered for a father of 3. I don't get it.
