I can't seem to find the plastic piece that goes between the package tray and the back glass. I've found the corner pieces but have had no luck in finding the center piece. Does anyone know where I might find a repo if possible or a nice used one?

There´s nothing in between the package tray and the back glass. The package tray is rammed just under the vertical metal edge just below the back glass. The corner pieces are one their own...

Thanks for the reply but on my 68 there is a plastic piece about 4 inches tall and goes pretty much the entire length of the back glass. My friend had nothing on his when he bought his 69 but i can see where it would bolt to though. Once I get home I'll post some pictures so someone might see what I'm talking about.

I have never seen a plastic piecs as you describe, the metal as you have highlighted is painted as are the two corners as well as the two sides...

LOL there isn't "one". I do not beleive there is any such "plastic" piece. The thing you have outlined is what gets painted and there is no "cover" for it...

lol I finally had a chance to look at my car and see what you are talking about. I figured there would be another piece to go between the corner pieces. So basically he needs to paint his and get the corner pieces. Thanks for helping me out I know I'm a goober.

LOL No problem. I beleive someone repops those corner pieces although my guess would be that Terry (69firebirdman) may have a nice used pair...
