anyone experienced in repairing door hinges with the kits available? Is this hard to do or a worthwhile fix for worn hinges? Just wondering if I need new hinges or if these will fix it?
I have seen a lot of feedback from people who have done it swear it is the best thing to do vs the purchase of aftermarket (read foreign) repro hinges.
Do a Tech section search and I'm sure you will find good info.

I bought a master kit for mine when we painted the car last winter. Was easy to do since we had the doors off. Sure made a nice difference in the way the doors worked.
I fixed mine by reaming the holes oversized, adding longer bushings and new pins.(I used 3/8 shoulder bolts. I work in a tool+die shop.)I even remade the roller for the door stop and machined a more positive stop in the tab.If you didn't get yours done I can send some pics.
