Inside the passenger door is the hardware that keeps the door closed. The “rocker” that latches the door to the pin (that is connected to the body) won’t release all the way and I can’t get my door to open.
Note: The lock works fine. The inside and outside door handles work fine. When I open the door, it releases about 3/4 of an inch and stops. Any ideas how to fix or replace this?
Unless something is binding or rusted, I don't think there is much to go bad there.
Try WD 40 or penetrating oil?

You can also try lifting up on the door as you are opening it. That may help to release the catch, I agree with topless, may need some penetrating lubricant. If that doesn't work, you'll need to remove the door panel (which can be difficult with a stuck door) and peak inside to see whats going.
I had that problem and it was the adjustment of the post. I was trying to get it a bit tighter, and whoops... locked up, really had me worried WTH I was going to do....but as said above I lifted and pilled and it snapped open.
Had the same problem with mine when we painted the car and had the doors off. Bought a aftermarket set of striker pins. Thought we would never get the door open even though we had open and shut it many times before it stuck. Lucky we had the interior out of the car. We were able to get to the back side of it from the quarter window area and loosen it and move it enough to get the door open. They now sit with my other aftermarket parts that fit many cars but not a 67 firebird.
