I have a 1968 Firebird without A/C. The heater assembly is missing. I'm going to purchase a new heater assembly with cables and was wondering how difficult it will be to install. Does anyone have any tips or advice?
I am going to assume that your car is assembled and road worthy. Tough to do with all the stuff under the dash and the right fender on. The blower motor goes under the fender.
Make sure you pull the glove box at the very least. Make sure you install the upper defroster duct 1st if it's not already there.

I'm in the process of putting a '68 without AC back together. The heater core is already sealed away so I can't show any photos of that, but I can assemble the dash control and cables and show you how they go. Pretty simple and almost self-explanatory on the housing; a little more care needed on the control side.
