I sent my hood tach to H&H Electrical for repair, they sent it back saying "meter no good, cannot repair" Any suggestions? is there someone who rebuilds tach or can sell the insides so i can keep my cover? Thanks

They likely checked the meter portion on a signal generator, so it's gone...you may have to buy a new one and try and swap the innards if it is the paint you are worried about.

Me as well...mine just does not want to work with Pertronix, altho I know it works. At least I can sell it for almost as much on eBay as I will need to pay as it is in 8.5/10 shape!
I know MSD makes an inline filter or buffer so their ignition boxes don't interfere with various types of tachs. There may be something out there for Pertronix as well???
