I was out recently when my accelerator cable snapped. I idled a few miles home...not fun in Chicago.
I got the bird home to the garage and ordered the new accelerator cable. It snapped by the pedal.
Is there anything I should watch out for when replacing this cable? It doesn't look to easy to get off from the carb.

simple job , been years since i changed one out. just make sure the cable is the right size. basic tools needed.
