My gas pedal is loose, and "wambley" meaning it is just floating around down there.
It works, but it seems there was some kind of black plastic thing that holds it in place, that is mostly gone.
I am not sure what I need, or how to install it.
Has anyone had this problem, or know what I am talking about?
Thanks for any ideas,
Dean

If you mean the plastic piece that connects the pedal rod to the firewall, it is readily available as a reproduction part. Although it's a little tight back there, you should be able to replace it (from the engine bay) without taking off more than the air cleaner.

Thanks Vikki,
I was wondering how to get back there, it does not look too easy, maybe you have to lay on the engine?

It's a reach, to be sure. A ratchet with a socket (think it's 5/16) with a crumb of magnet stuffed inside makes it easier.
