Did it all myself except the disassembly, welding in of the trunk, quarter, windshield area and floor panels. Welding is not my forte LOL....the few pics in the restoration shop was from that being done, then I moved it into my garage to move on from there.
Cost me a lot of $ to have that work done, but they did a beautiful job. It was done by "Canadian Auto Restorations" a few miles from my house.
I had them do the disassembly as I was too busy with my business at the time and it was grunt work anyhow. They did a good job of bagging and tagging...They were slow but meticulous....thx!

We should start painting body parts and such this week. I will be back in the shop helping Dad for a while,I should start on the sub frame while he is painting under panels, trunk, jambs and fire wall and getting it ready to put back on it's wheels. all we are doing is making it a roller with finished paint and body, others will do the final assembley.
since you can't get the convertable only braces I repaired and installed the 4 old ones.
We decided to weld up and fill in the seems at the tail light panel, we were not happy with the consistancy between the the two quarter panels and it showed where the tops of the quarters met the tail light panel. some people won't like this action but since the owner is updating several other items and it's not going original stock anyway...... more pics soon
Installed seat pans, been working on finish bodywork and primed the parts on the table in the earler post. repaired holes in the inner fenders and core support.A lot of work being done but not a lot to look at.
owner found a crack in the engine so it seems the car is getting an upgrade to a 400
if I can remember the camara I will take some shots any way
Here are some shots of the next major project ut's a 1967 mustang 6cyl coupe
