Anyone have the tach location template for a 400 hood for a 69.i found the template for 67-8 ,is a 69 different? i tried a search and couldn't find one.i got a new 400 hood on the way and want to have the correct location to give to the body guy. Thanks
Since the '69 400 hood basically the same as the '67-68, you would think the template you have would work. Unless there was something different about factory '69 placement.
My sugestion would be to compare the diagram in the Assembly Manual with the '67-'68 template. If they match up pretty well, you are in business.

I agree. They are all the same hood. Only the latch is different.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
