That is very cool! I recently bought that March 1969 Hot Rod Magazine for the prototype article. I like all the old magazine articles!!!

About 99% of the articles I have are for the 67 but if you want to use the you can. I have some 67 prototype pictures etc.... I still have about 6 more magazines I haven't posted yet.

Thank you! I wanted to do another article on the development of how the Firebird came to be, from DeLorean's refusal to take the Camaro design, his pushing of the 64 Banshee on GM execs, the later Scorpion concept, the GM-X, and then the Firebird.

is all that info from march 1969 hotrod? thats some interesting stuff.i would not mind to get an issue myself.

The March 69 Hot Rod was the issue with the road test on the silver prototype Trans Am. I used a couple photos from that test in my article, but the photos of the car sitting in the Pontiac Engineering garage were not from that road test. The Hot Rod article was a standard magazine road test, no information about prototypes or the design of the Trans Am. It was a good road test though!
