I am looking for rocker moldings but From the pictures in the car show section it looks like there is a couple different styles. Is this true or am I blind? Does anyone have pictures of the molding on their car and where they got it?
There is only one style for firebirds (other than Sprint 'birds).
It is aproximately 2" wide and runs the length of the car. Each side is held on with two metal mounting straps and screws.
I have pictures on my photobucket, but they are originals.
I believe Ames and other repop sellers have a repop version.
Originals can be had from time to time on Epay or Craigslist.
'maros had a different style and are often confused with firebirds.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Shipping those is a real PITA. From where you are, you could take a ride and pick up a set from The Parts Place in Chicago. I got mine from them, and they fit and look fine.

FWIW I replaced my originals with $55 aftermarkets from NPD or CI (I forgot which one) and they were a perfect fit. The metal on the repo was a tiny bit thinner metal but looks great. Especially for the price.
The ones from Ames aren't too bad. I was going to replace my GM originals not too long ago but then I looked at the repops at the Turkey Run and decided mine 43 year old pieces were much nicer than brand new repops, mainly due to the fact that they are VERY thin metal...
I got one side from Classic, matches perfect with my existing on opposite side....the "lip" that catches it under is not quite as wide, but doesnt show....
