I screwed up my last ?.I installed a 400 block and tranny. Prob. is what cross member do I order.Does anyone have a pic? could I just make one? Any sugestions?

Looking at your last post it appears you have a th350 tranny.

No my trannys a th400 with the long tailshaft.Your first photo is what I need.

Long tailshaft is not designed to work in a Firebird without a minor modification. You can make an adapter plate to extend the bolt holes back, or possibly relocate the crossmember. I had a '68 with the adapter plate. It worked fine for normal driving.

I made brakets for the sub frame and tranny mount.Tomarrow I'm going to bend up some pipe and weld in.

I had the first one everything worked out fine for me(had) meaning I converted to the straight one for an M-20 4spd trans
