I have searched but did not find this particular problem. What I have: 67 Coupe 400, with Dougs headers, and power steering. I have not gotten to the point of starting it yet, but while I was underneath finishing up the fuel line connections I noticed that my pitman arm hits my headers. I see that there is also a curved pitman arm, and was wondering if there is a difference between the straight ,and curved arms ie.. Manual steering vs power steering, and if I could use the curved one instead. Thanks again for all the helpful people in here, and sorry to the pureists for the header question.
I have a '67 400 coupe with a 455, PS and Doug's headers. My car also had the straight pitman arm when I bought it, but during my build I purchased the correct curved pitman arm that was supposed to be on these cars.
I have no clearance issues.

Especially after you consider the amount of the investment in them.
Me, even more so as I failed to follow the warnings and broke my engine in with them on (had no choice, sold off my manifolds already)
Cost me another $250 to have them recoated (but inside AND out).
