I know Bill sells reproduction Bat wings.. The question I have is,,, Where do they go and what purpose are they for,??.. I have pretty much a complete front section that I have not taken apart yet,, I bought it seperate from my car,, and it has been to many years since I stripped my car down, also the entire front nose bumper section was not with my car when I bought it,, and I "{ASSume}" they are in there, but not for sure.. Are they at the bottom,, in the middle, or on top of the front nose assembly..???.. I hope someone can help me with this question... any pics,,???.. Thanks for any help...
Dbl Egl...heres a pic of the front of mine... the bat-wing is the V shaped filler piece behind the 69 grille, you can see where it ends and the light surrounds starts , just before the grille turns down...if you look really hard...lol
Yeah,,, thats it.. okay.. so,, the bat wing is the filler piece between the top of the front bumper, and the hood.. Right??.. I did'nt realize that this filler piece needed shimmed up,, how many shims does it usually take under this filler piece {Bat Wing}??..

no, the batwing is the fiberglass piece....you must mean the shims for it...maybe its called batwing shims? never heard anybody calling them anything...but there are two....mine are kinda loose and sometimes they start sliding out , I just push them back in. but next time one creeps out I may take a picture of it ...if my memory serves me its about 1/16" +-
