I have almost got my Bird back on the road. I have one last problem. I was needing to know what's the biggest wheel and tire comb that you can put on this Bird without any modification? I was think something like a 15x8 with 4.5" backspaing on the rear and a 15x6 on the front. I'm really not sure what size tires. I would like to have the biggest possible. I have read the FAQ's section it has help but stil wondering if anyone else could shed some light on the situation. Thanks for your help.

Do you want to stick with 15 inch wheels?

I'm running a 16 front and 17 rear. 245/50/16 front and 255/45/17 rear. No rubbing at all and plenty of clearance front and rear even being lowered 2 inches all the way around.

Use tirerack.com and look at specs for tires. Compare overall dimensions and widths.

I was able to fit 295/50R15 on Centerline Drag Lite wheels. Not sure what the backspacing was but I'm pretty sure the wheel is about 9" wide.

I'm running 205/70R15 on the front on a 15x7" American Racing Wheel.
