Did the 1967 400 use a chrome oil cap breather connected to the intake manifold for positive crankcase ventilation (PCV)? If not, how was this achieved?
Yes there was a chrome valve cover breather used in '67 as part of the PCV system. There was also a breather for the oil fill without a hose nipple for the other side but they were not chromed (painted body color).

OK, my car is an original CA car with smog. That's probably why it was the way I described as they were required to have a closed crankcase system.
