there are a few points about your new healthcare plan you shld understand if the bill passes.
1st) the policy will require all insurance companies to re-evaluate individuals applying for insurance and accept all those with pre-existing problems.
2nd) it makes it illegal for anyone to not have coverage because the insurance agencies want more income for accepting people with chronic problems.
it will PENALIZE those who dont/cant afford it for themselves!! and fine others who just dont want it regardless of their health or financial status.
3rd) it rewards louisianna for its vote so the senators will vote for the bill. also north dakota for its.
4th) it removes a sweetheart clause for nebraska's vote but allows for abortion funding instead!
a number of problems exist with the current legislation on reform for healthcare. while i think it should be illegal for anyone to be turned down for a medical condition they already have i dont think it should be illegal for a healthy unwealthy person to opt out of coverage.
the insurance companies want it to be illegal so they can continue to make 1000% of the cost of your policy while not covering even 1/5 of the cost of your needs. there is a pole out that gives exact numbers on the profit margin of insurance companies and it is well over 100% for the first 5 years you are covers. anyone reading this democrat or republican should contact they're senator and tell them to vote no on this. ask them to pass the clause making it illegal for the insurance companies to deny coverage for a prexisting medical condition. none of the other!!
otherwise we will all be out of work and looking to heaven for answers wondering how the he!! this ever happened!! com election day, im taking notes. if this bill passes i will make note of those in office and vote against them when election time comes. and it IS AN ELECTION YEAR!!!
I NOW YEILD THE BOX>>>>>>

I don't know much about this plan, but NOT having any health insurance is VERY unwise in my opinion. I can't imagine why you would want that, other then then not having any money or being extremely filthy rich, or out of your mind!
Other than that, I'll stay away from this political issue; know too little about the details...
<---- too poor to afford insurance and supposedly too rich to get federal subsidies and help. just because i have a 401k i cant touch the government says im rich. but being employed at a part -time minimum wage job im too [censored] poor to purchase the insurance i need. rock and a hard place like 75% of middle america these days!!

As long as Congress gets rid of their current (100% free) healthcare for life and roll their coverage into this plan, I'm with them.
Yeah, right!

Agreed. If it's such a good plan, it should be 100% inclusive, not 100% minus government and other special groups.
I am against anything that tells me what I MUST do. I took my job in part because of the benefits. The healthcare coverage is less comprehensive and more expensive than when I started, but as I was previously on a pay-it-all small business policy, I am satisfied with what I am paying now and get reasonable coverage.

This is all G.W.'s fault, every bit of it (being sarcastic just incase you didn't know)...
This entire health care BS just sucks! And the kicker is, it doesn't even begin until 2018 LOLOLOL Yet Osama goes on TV telling us we need this now and how it's going to help everyone blah blah blah and nevers once has mentioned anything about 2018. I don't have health coverage and I don't even want this crap. Unreal!
while not beginning until 2018 it will be repealled by those interested in seeing it die. the timeline will only give state governments more time to tie it up in litigation. lol just what i want to see. more of my taxdollars going to waist to fight tax dollars going to waist. kinda like a dog chasing its own tail!!
BUT I RIMIND YOU... IT IS AN ELECTION YEAR!!! GO VOTE!!

My thinking is if it can be made law , it can also be repealed.... Not sure I will give it until 2018....I will decide by 2013 if I will move....Panama is looking better all the time!
They estimate a 20-30% increase in premiums. If mine goes up any more, i'll be better off get'n fired and collecting unemployment and free health care. IM SERIOUS! Then thier gon'a tax "tax free dividens and interest" at 3.8%. Tax the manufactures on medical equipement. Tax the use of equipement. Who knows what else. 40-45% of the physicians say thier gon'a change fields or retire early. Theres not enough now. Then after 4 yrs we'l get "you dont need all those testsor medications".
There WILL be a federal sales tax or VAT tax, you can bet you behind on that. And forcing people to have insurance or fining us if we don't is just another way of getting premiums to pay for people that are a losing proposition to the hospitals and insurance companies. For example, my father had 3 bouts with non-hodgkins lymphoma. The last time his treatment entailed a bone marrow transplant at Stanford, one of if not the best cancer treatment centers in the world. His private insurance cost close to $1200.00/month at the time. The insurance paid stanford close to $750k to treat him and keep him alive and he's doing fine 6 years later. New plan...he'd be dead.

I already pay $680/mo for 'family', in July it goes down to $600 as my youngest turns 25.....and yes I checked ,the 26 change wont happen until next year as we are already in a insurance year. My employer pays more for us than we do....another 25-30% is not going to be good Tort reform needed , lots more than the new health care bill, but that would be too easy.
Our premiums are either for single or family. Number of members doesnt matter. But its $5000 deductable per member. One good thing is i can submit for whats not covered or under paid and get about 80% refunded back.

osama is going to fine everyone who doesnt have healthcare nearly 700$ per yr not covered. 2000$ for small bussinesses not covering their workers. thats per worker. they will give vouchers to people who make less than 30,000 per yr but if you make more your F'D!! buy your own. it doesnt require employers to carry coverage and many have already stated they will stop covering their employees because of this bill!!! also it does nothing to curb costs of medications or cost's of healthcare itself. this is where the real reform is needed and it doesnt even mention it!!
hows that for your hope and change. as far as hope goes, ive lost all hope for this country!! and change.... i have none because im unemployed and flat broke!! all because someone hoped osama would change business. HE'S CHANGING IT ALRIGHT BUT FOR THE WORSE!!!!!!!!!!

Well something had to be done, You guys are a bunch of closed minded individuals. Of course it isn't going to be perfect nothing is when it first comes out. Of course everybody will never be happy with it they never are. Give it a few years or so to work the bugs out. You guys are almost as bad as the oil speclulators who drive up the price of gas.

believe me, I`ve lived it
the "something that had to be done" was tort reform...then the people that cant afford it now could , and it would be less for the rest...but then they couldnt CONTROL it, nor Tax you...its all about control..

Oh brother, exactly the reason this turd was elected in the first place. As for me, I could careless anymore what happens. I am going blind and don't give a $hit about much of anything outside of my wife and kids. We are losing our home, have no health ins. but who cares, we have Osama and he will fix everything! I have officially joined the majority in this country, people who are clueless and don't care...
I have a HS friend who moved to Australia sever years back, said it was the best decision of his life. He loves it there, not sure what the cost of living is like or the job market etc.
its a lot longer flight! lol...plus if you want to viasit here, relatives etc, Panama is only 4 hrs away...and no need to exchange your $$...they use the same...

my neighbors across the street lived there 6 yrs, loved it ,thought of staying ,but they were far from their old friends and relatives....another neighbor of mine , also a good friend ,is from Melbourne (wife is Texan) loves it here... when I was in HS (looong ago!) I planned to move to Australia, the SouthEast coast. Never did though...got stuck in Texas after visiting.
I'd like to get as far away from the USA as possible. No offense, but I'm just sick and tired of being politically correct and giving everybody that complains what they want.

Ya, just like social security, medicare, and medicaid. Do you really think they want to help "the people"? Its about control, nothing else.
