Was wondering if anyone every took on the daunting task of putting pontiac motor specs on the web. You know like stroke, bore, tolerances, and torque specs. I seen some info on torque specs at 1 web site. But like my 1970 400 I might be buying a crankshaft here in the near future and some general info would be nice without spending alot of time tracking down books at stores.
'67 and '68 service manuals are on my site (see my signature), they have torque specs and assembly info. AMA specs are on this site, go back to the top of the page http://firstgenfirebird.org for a lot of info.

Thx Vikki. The engine I have now is a 1970 400. I know for the most part they are the same. But I was wanting to make sure before I get to deep in this rebuild that there are no mistakes. I might be buying a new crankshaft for this motor and need the exact specs on this motor. The crank as of right now has been undercut 0.010 and has some visible scarring. Summit has a new crank from eagle I might use. The motor is bored 30. Wish my ex-wife hadn't burned on my chiltons manuals... Never piss off a woman... Joe
