Why are you asking????? Tell me you are not looking at that ORIGINAL carb on Ebay? That thing looks like it was used as a boat anchor for a few years.
Excuse my challenge, but I just saw the **** thing on Ebay and then saw your post. Forgive my spontanuity, but some poor fella out there is gonna make a bid on that piece of rust. It always hurts me to see a junk-yard runner try and pass off crap to folks that are truly trying to rebuild an FGF. Did not mean to question your knowledge either, my friend. That Ad on Ebay just got my blood boiling, as usual.

Dude, settle down! I was asking because I have been thinking of buying a correct carb for my car ever since I bought it. I did see that auction on Ebay, and that's what sparked my interest again. I was NOT planning on buying that particular carb. Besides, did you see how high that bid got? And the reserve wasn't met yet????? Wow.
When I looked up the carb for my car in the 68 Service Manual, it listed two different carb #'s for the 400. I just wanted to make sure I was looking for the right one.
Thanks for your concern, though! I should hire you to screen all my purchases!!!
