Ok, finally got to wax the new paint, and am ready to install the exterior trim. I have run into a couple of problems, but the main one is the rocker panel mouldings. The previous owner filled in the holes it appears for the brackets that hold the mouldings on. The holes underneath the body appear to all be there however.
Sorry to ramble, my question is placement of the L type brackets that the mouldings hang over before securing them underneath. I don't really know how they are supposed to look, so if anyone has pics, and measurements, I would be very appreciative.
Why is it that the things you think would be the easiest always turn out to be much harder than originally thought (darn gill trim).
It's in a manual titled "1969 Firebird Assembly Manual" by Millenium Industries. It's a compilation of variable quality reprints of GM microfilms but overall worth the price as it shows pretty much every piece of the car and the appropriate fasteners, with part number callouts for each.
I have a paper copy, a digital copy would likely be better.
