What is size of the correct base plate anyway? I've got three different sized plates for my '67 and '68. All are identical in appearance, but are of a slightly different size.

8" x 6" on the original in my '68.

Thanks Jim. I've got one 6" x 8". Does your base have a "U" stamped into it?
Anyone know if the '67 and '68 plates are the same?
