So I was detailing my IROC, had the wheels off and next to the firebird when I thought "How would those wheels look on the Bird? Tell me what you think.
My 100% opinion.... incorrect era, I like them on the 80's Camaro's though. So I say nay. Rally I or II, Cragar SS, or American Racing Torque Thrusts are my classic choices.
Honestly they don't look bad at all. Almost like a aftermarket wheel look. I like the early 70s honeycomb wheels. Was wondering myself how hey would look on my car...HMMMMM
From a purist leaning point of view. In all honesty, they look no worse than 16,17,18,22" etc. etc. IMO it's Rally I, II, steel wheels & dog dish caps or stock hub caps nothing looks as good as what could have or should have been...
Just add a snow-plow and rear spoiler, and you're half way there!
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Hank, I don't think they look bad. Aren't those 16's? I picked up a set of 15x7 snowflakes I was thinking of using on mine before I got the chrome ones.
-=>Lee<=- Due to budget constraints the "light at the end of the tunnel" has been turned off!
Yes, they did rub slightly. I had beed told that they would fit OK if the "fronts" were mounted on the rear and the "rears" mounted on the front. Mounted that way the tires mounted in the rear rubbed a lot. I think the best way would be to use 4 "rear" wheels. Even that way the front wheels rubbed just a little under full compression. Just in case somebody is wondering what all the "front" and "rear" is all about, these wheels have different offsets and are marked front and rear.
Yes Lee, they are 16's.
And I thought they made the car look a little like a Matchbox car also.
Thanks for all the honest comments, I think I will stick with the Ralley IIs but I would like to switch to 15's or even some aftermarket 16'.s

X2 on the Nay and incorrect era, doesn't look real bad but it doesn't help the car at all.

But seriously, would any of you put these rims on a bird? I was thinking of painting them black. I used to have the same ones on my 67 camaro.
