Anyway - I wanted to provide some feedback on camaros.com
I have been looking for a burlwood radio faceplate for a 68 AM stock radio.
After calling and emailing numerous people and companies, camaros.com got back to me. They replied quickly saying that they had one in stock. I emailed back asking for a picture as numerous others said they had one but sent me pictures of all kinds of different parts, none of which were the radio face plate.
Unfortunately they never responded to my email after the initial inquiry. Being excited though, after three days I called them and ordered it, taking my chances...
They shipped it out right away and it was delivered to my house yesterday.
It was the original part and in fairly good condition for being a 43 year old part (came from a 67). Installed with no issues.
Anyway - I just wanted to pass a good word along for camaros.com. I know how nervous I get dealing with internet shops, so hoping my experience gives someone else peace of mind if they are looking to deal with camaros.com.
I MAY be wrong, I am NO expert... There was a stamp on the back that said "67", I assumed it was the year??? Whatever it is, it looks good for an old metail radio face plate! It does match the burlwood dash panel though.
If I ever take it off, I'll snap a picture. I should have done that anyway...
