Hello to all, Just recently registered as a member, but have been on the site(doing research before buying a car, and getting some answers since then), as a guest for the past year. This is my first try at owning and rebuilding a classic, and since I am not independently wealthy, I'm hoping to get it/do things right the first time. So far, I have gotten tons of great information from here to enable that goal. I have posted a few questions already, and I'm sure I'll have some more. The members here seem to be really good people that help each other out, and I hope to do the same. Thanks for all the help you already gave me, and the more that is sure to come. Sincerely, Tom Antila

Welcome aboard. I can tell you from first hand experience that there is a wealth of knowledge here. They people are not only very well versed in first gen firebirds but are willing to help rookies like you and I. I can't imagine how I could have gotten our car to where it is with out this forum.
The computer I use blocks me from accessing the sites like "flickr" that could/would host my photos. Is there another way to add a photo to a post ? Tom,

I had to use photobucket for my Triumph site....maybe that will work for you?
I think its a lot more pain than just load from your own "my pics", but it works.
Welcome, glad you found us, and yes, this is the best group for the 1st gens. Quite an anomaly among automotive web boards. The people here will and do go out of their way to help each other.
Congrats on the new member of your family, can't wait to see her!
