Tuesday, June 1, 2010 was chosen because May 31, 2010 is the last day the dealerships can sell and advertise a Pontiac as a Pontiac dealership. By midnight on the May 31, 2010 Pontiac Motor Division officially ceases to exist.
You know what is sad. Pontiac was a good division but GM had to try to get there pots into so many fires that they screwed themselves. Price, quality of there products are just down right rediculous. A car that should cost no more than 13k costs 19k and so on. Then when they can't rob us anymore they claim it's our fault and want us to bail them out. Yeah Buick is so much better than pontiac let's keep that.
