My car has Rally's on it, I know they are not original so I was thinking of getting a set of the original hubcaps. My PHS reprinted invoice says as part of the Custom Trim Option "Deluxe Wheel Discs". Does anybody have a picture of what those look like? Also would anyone know if they would pop right on a set of Rallys if I took off the trim rings and center caps?
There were a couple of options, but my '68 came with a wire wheel version. My photobucket has some pictures of them on my '68 (way at the beginning of the pictures). I think Vikki's site has dealer catalogs that show options, or I can post a PDF from the parts catalog.
Keep in mind that "deluxe" didn't mean too "deluxe", at least in my opinion. Simple wheel covers were considered deluxe.
As far as putting them on over your rally II's, they would fit, but the cover clips would scratch the finish. And standard wheels with wheel covers would have been black verses the grey Rally finish.
