Got mine from a place called American Automotive Classics Inc. I don't know if they are even in business any more. Top has been on for 15 years and still looks good except for a few things that are my fault.

AHA! That's why your's sits so low in the well...
yep, thinner will fold down better...not taking as much room...and down here ,not much need for 'harsh weather' top...and its only up if I get caught in a shower anyway, so its most all of the time protected from the 'weather'

I was just looking at mine and from the rear seat tuck issue it appears my main fold is protruding just enuff on the corner to impede tucking the boot around the seat corner..not sure I can remedy that...
