Any recommendations on which top to buy? I'm wrapping up restoration on my '68 and this is last piece in the puzzle.

The ones made by Key are good. Got mine through Classic if I'm remembering right.

Got mine from a place called American Automotive Classics Inc. I don't know if they are even in business any more. Top has been on for 15 years and still looks good except for a few things that are my fault.

as I wanted a good quality top I asked my upholstery guy to advice...I didnt get the thicker as he said it will also "build up" as its lowered and takes more room...just FYI

I just ordered a top today through NPD because it has the best warranty I could find: 60 mos. on rips, tears, streching, etc. Hopefully its good

yep, thinner will fold down better...not taking as much room...and down here ,not much need for 'harsh weather' top...and its only up if I get caught in a shower anyway, so its most all of the time protected from the 'weather'

I just called a handfull of interior shops and they prefer the Robin brand or the Easy on? brand from NPD.

My 'bird has a Kee top that has been on since '90 and still looks great (the car is garaged).

I was just looking at mine and from the rear seat tuck issue it appears my main fold is protruding just enuff on the corner to impede tucking the boot around the seat corner..not sure I can remedy that...

the 'quality' of the top will much be affected by where you live , how you use it ,how its affected by the weather...
