This person is smoking crack or just eating it because there is no way 100 cores is worth 59k! Cores at best are worth about $250. That is just nuts! I could see if there were a ton of good parts, rebuild kits etc. that came with all of this, but otherwise forget it!
I talked to a guy on eBay about my T10 and he says he pays $750/core for them and they sell for up to 2K rebuilt. M22 rebuilt are going for up to $2k at CI.
But I doubt there are many people that would risk $50k.

If you know someone paying $750 for cores, please give him my name, number, address and phone number. I can get them for $250 and sell them to him for $750. I can get him any year, M21, M22, T-10, Saginaws etc. I'm dead serious, if someone is willing to pay $750 for cores that need a complete rebuild, I can get em!
Yes, we have many Standard Trannys. We currently purchase Super T-10's all the time. We also sell them. It would depend upon the condition of your unit, the housing, the gear ratio and the tailshaft. The later model tailshaft tranny that came in third generation camaro and firebirds are not worth as much as the second and first generation. I usually pay about $350.00 to $500.00 max for a Super T-10. They are pretty available here in the States. I just got a whole pickup bed loaded with Muncie, Super T-10's, Saganaws and etc for $921.00. About five Muncies, T-10's tons of extra parts and one Saganaw. I do not know what to do with the Saganaw. Now I got one of them to. LOL Dan

I think I will buy a TH400 this year from him because I like how he does his work.

I had once a problem with mine (leaking) ,so I took it t a shop....it got worse, they claio\med it was a "bad trans. That I needed another core... I bought one from a fgf`er in Austin ,supposedly w low mileage etc...had it transferred to me by another nice fgf`er in San Antonio....got it installed ,but they said it was so dirty they need t clean it up inside! got it screwed up, (by that same shop!)...took it AND my old trans to another shop (where I have gone since then!!) took the new used out as it was now damaged, rebuilt my original trans., and its been fine ever since...$1700 to get my old fixed and throw away what I bought used!
When mine was just rebuilt we sent the empty case to a guy in Chicago who nurrells(s) the countershaft hole and this stops any leaking from the Muncies. All the internal parts and I mean ALL of them, with hardened race quality main shaft, gears, steel mid-plate etc. all total was $1500. Luckily there was no labor as my friend Mike did the work...
