Ok, I know i have asked this before but here we go again. Does anyone have pics showing how to replace inner rockers. My 68 coupe is in need of both inner and outer rockers and floor pan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Gus, I am in need of replacing left inner and outer rocker. entire floor pan. both quarter panels, going to try to patch left cowl and repair dash. I will also need to replace both frame rails, and door skins. I think I can patch lower door skins.Wheel wells and core support.

How's your trunk? Your inner & outer wheel house are probably toast too. To get the LH rocker off I had to remove the entire LH cowl so it's not worth trying to save. The inner rocker attaches to the firewall and between the LH cowl.
Have you stripped the car? Taking the cowl out buggers the firewall and if your dash is kaput then your upper cowl is probably done as well.
I also had to install a LH lower inside qtr patch panel. It rusted away from rocker and outer wheel house.
The only reason to do this restoration is for the love of the car because we will not get our time & money out of it.
I will assemble a bunch of pics of what I've done thus far. I am trying to attach the outer LH rocker cowl first.
Do you intend to buy the $2800 full floor & trunk pan together? I have plans for a body frame cart so we can align everything given the fact that most of it is being replaced (see attached).
The trunk seems pretty good. I have the car pretty much stripped. I need to drop the rear. I haven't done much to it other than strip it down. I have seen a guy on line how has a floor pan the one that doesn't include the trunk and toe boards he is asking $350 for it. I am trying to get a hold of him. I didn't take many pics during the stripping down stage. I will as i begin to restore it. She's a basket case but she's mine. I am determined to get her on the road. Any pics or info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Wheels

Check the rear subframes carefully. Take a ice pick or screw driver and poke hard at it all over. I thought mine looked good until I tried to put it on jack stands to drop the rear end and one side of the subframe crumpled up like aluminum foil. Same with trunk floor. Poke Poke Poke.
Thanks Larry for the advice. I am pretty sure the frame rails are shot. Funny though the trunk doesn't seem bad. But I will poke away. Thanks guys for all the great advice.

I think your going to have a hard time replacing the frame rails and not destroying the floor at the same time. The rails are thicker than the floor, seems odd the floor will not be toast as well. I still owe you some pics ... try for later tonight.
