Does anyone know how much a stock head would weigh (assembled - valves springs rockers). I'm just trying to figure out a ballpark shipping cost. Any help is appreciated.
If I remember right I think it was 65 lbs ea? I sent a complete set of heads from Houston to Calif. for $50 w / fedex (cheaper than ups)...paid $90 for a complete set sent from NY to Houston via UPS...you got to package ea head by itself, otherwise it weighs to much for them to take... packed right they will be about 22" x 10" x 8" ea... but in either case Fedex will prob. be 30% less than UPS...
