Anyone considering this exhaust system... Do it! System comes with some of the pipes long which give you some flexibility for different setups. I have a Keisler 5 spd which has a custom crossmember.
The center section drops out with (8) bolts in about 2 mins.
I went with the full 2 1/2" w/ crossover & goerlichs. Gives a nice low idle and then quiets down once you get on the pedal. One of the best sounding systems I have heard on our Pontiacs and doesn't drone you out on the highway. I had dynomax super turbos on before.
I wasn't able to tuck the system above the emerg brake cable this time but am pretty happy with how tight I was able to keep everything.
I too have seen and heard these systems in person. They fit great, look great and most importantly sound great! R.A.R.E. stuff is serious quality. And, they stand behind their product!
I have Pauls 2.5" pipes and the Texas T/As (he suggested them but no longer has them on his site)on mine. They are a bit too loud on acceleration but not to bad at cruise but may change them out soon. I did like the low profile 3.5" of the muffler boxes tho as they fit nicely in the step. Tempted to try the crossovers tho!
I was surprised to see his pipes were made in Canada tho! I too ordered his LMB.s
