Does anyone know the correct color for the shocks on a 68 firebird 400? I have gas-a-shock on my car now that are white but I am wanting to make it the original look. thanks again

They are gray with spiral shapes.

I don't recall the exact numbers for 1st Gen Birds but they look like these.

I hit the gas-a-justs with gray. The look closer on casual inspection.

I think Eastwoods carries the correct color is a spray bomb can.

no, it's a glossy light dove gray. If you are really concerned with the original look, you'll need to get spiral shocks. And they are only available as oil filled shocks, not performance shocks.
