I have a 68 coupe which needs rockers. Yes a 1968. I have a chance to purchase brand new 1969 camaro rockers. Can anyone tell me if 69 camaro rockers will fit my 68 bird? Thanks in advance

The parts catalogs I have list 67-69 as the same part number for the rockers. As far as bird vs camaro, I can't see why they would be different.

I just have to weld the LH side. RH side is fine.

BTW, Gus, thanks for all the pics you put up, I checked out your site from another rocker thread and it's going to help me a lot when I do mine. It's one thing to cut something apart and weld it back together, it's a completely different animal when the joints and other areas are completely gone from rust and you have no idea what the hell was supposed to go there!

Did you see the info on the brace you need for the rockers?

Yes, I'm going to buy those (I'm assuming you mean the one's the Camaro guy was offering for $75 shipped?) I had no clue that part was needed and not offered anywhere else, I'm glad I saw his post!

I just spent almost a grand on garage stuff over the past couple weeks, I'm letting my card cool off a bit LOL. I did a full interior renovation on the house my wife and I bought over the past year and aside from my C-10 crammed on the right side, the rest of the garage was impassible from all of the home debri!
