I second that. The purists will also notice it has a camaro front lower spoiler and looks like a camaro rear spoiler on the trunk. Don't worry about them. Build whatever YOU want. That's what I'm doing.. I applaud your efforts adding pontiac center caps. I dogged you at first, but they do look good.

Pontiac rally wheels are overrated..... Seems every pontiac has them.... LMAO I really like the honeycomb wheels of the early 70s myself on my 67 bird but that would make Joe shat himself.. LOL
Ok, so they don't have to be Rally II's, how about I's, or steel wheels and dog dishes? Or even hub caps for that matter, anything as long as it's from the era and could have been on a FGF. And while we're at it, white letter tires on ANY CAR prior to 69 should just simply not be allowed.
When asked to judge cars, my friends and I automatically toss out cars for incorrect rims/tires and or white letter tires on pre 69 cars. Just one of those pet peeves of the hobby... lol
Earlybird, I agree with you about the white lettering, I do plan on having them turned around to the blackwall side.
Unfortunately, I'm one of those guys that has all my money tied up in bills. If I can scrape together an extra $50 a month for my projects, that's good.
The tires right now are pure appearance, and I'd rather get it running again than have it all pretty in the garage!
That's why dealing with my fuel flow issues is so frustrating, I'll be spending money on a gasket kit and radiator repair that seems to have been unnecessary.
I fully agree with you, getting another 'bird running is what counts! Keep us posted with your progress.

I will be over your way in a couple weeks. We are hoping to pick my Navy son up in Kalamazoo then heading up to Pentwater for a few days fishing.
As a relative new guy I wanted to tell you that 99% of the ribbing these guys give is just in fun. They are all good guys and they have tons of knowledge. In the end you have to do what makes you happy although the longer you hang around this site the "purist" thing tends to rub off. Keep pecking away at it.
