a rental car? don't you know the only reason to rent a car is to try stuff your scared to try in your own car... neutral drops, throw it in reverse at 30mph, stuff like that..
We bought a new Altima 2.5S in 2004 and it's been a great car! My wife drives it 99% of the time and it only has about 60,000 miles on it. Still looks and runs like new.

that is good to hear, it was rated consumer reports no 1 in 2009, the price was right on too..
I went to auction last month. lemme tell ya, cash for clunkers hasn't helped the market any, but after wading thru the trash, a decent car was still near retail
For what each of us will have to pay in taxes for that sham of a program you should have got that car for next to nothing And watch the flood of repo cars that will hit the market over the next couple of years due to people that wouldn't and shouldn't have been able to purchased cars due to income or credit issues. Another failed program from a failing administration...just my .02 cents.
I think there are some xtra spoilers and IROC wheels available from another thread...

I bought it for her new and it really has been a great car for her. She has only about 15,000 miles but I am very pleased.
Assuming the warranty transferred to you? If so, just so you know, Nissan sent us a letter telling us that they expanded part of the warranty to cover the CVT for 10 yrs / 120k miles I believe it was.
LOL They would look like they belong on the Altima more so than a FGF IMO...
Geez guys, you think just a little outside the box and right away you get slammed for it. I'll never think out side the box again. I'll never think outside the box again. I'll never think.................
Outside the box is putting ford wheels on your bird by drilling the holes out. Putting some clunky aftermarket scoops from autozone on your bird. Putting curb feelers on your car because they are so cool! Or better yet taking a sweet bird tearing it appart and making it a camaro....

My Thoughts exactly.. I don't have news cars, and my wife and I make good money. The age of our vehicles is 6,8,25 & 41. Sounds kind of like the whole Fannie Mae deal, loans to people who really couldn't afford them

I'm ready to up the sound system, add navigation, but the wife said "keep your power whore paws off it"

I'm hip bro, my insurance car reads... 67, 91, 96, 09.. we are pretty tight ourselves, too old to start over
sorry for one big post guys, thanks for all the well wishes, I've blown the doors off my company which paid for the car, but leaves little time for the fun stuff.. dam droid of mine keeps me tethered to the satellites when I'm not at my desk too
Hard for a guy from Detroit to say this but that is a nice car. I have always like Nissans. As a matter of fact I used to own a Datsun (Nissan for all you young guys) 240Z and it was one of my all time best cars.
Johnny Mac, you need to buy those plastic vents (Buick 3 Hole) at wallmart and put those on, along with the curb feelers, and don't forget the spinner hubcaps.
All kidding aside, they have sold a ton of these cars, they look nice, and for the money who can argue?
