Finally got a pic but painted it a few weeks ago. You were right the tach looks much better car color.

Had some company Sat night! Need some brakes on the red one. One of the many friends we all make around this hobby owns the red one. I got a couple nice shots! Need one more!

His and his ~or~ his and hers?

I can't decide if I am more jealous of the cars or the garage.

Speaking of garages. The ONLY good thing that is coming out of losing our home is the house we will be renting comes with, get this, a 40x40 two bay shop with 20' ceilings. AND, AND, my friend Mike is going to give me one of his lifts to use in this new shop!!!!

Thanks. To be honest, I'd much rather been able to keep my single car garage of our own. Losing our home is by far the worst thing ever. Losing my vision, our first new vehicle, income etc. etc. don't add up to losing our home. We would have and did give up all of the above in our attempt to keep our home. The only thing we needed in return was a little help from our mortgage company. But they seem to think taking the loss and having the tax payers repay them (under the new laws) for their loss is a better way to go.

Anyway, back to topic. I am pleased to see this beauty ended up with a body color hood tach. Just doesn't get any nicer than that!

The red one is a friends car were doing a brake job and some other little things. He wanted to see the bottom side too. I felt it was a great opportunity to take a pic. My wife loves cars too! I talked her out of her 91 mustang gt 5 speed after many years, and into 98 6 speed z-28. When we bought the camaro the 2 post was part of the deal. She got a z I needed a lift. The firebird usually sits above the camaro. The lift was invaluable while doing the bird. This lift is only 111" tall. It is on sale for 1445.00 now without shipping. I think I have seen even cheaper. American Automotive lifts.

I'll second the lift idea. When I was building my garage originally I wanted a 3 car, however zoning prevented it. As an alternative, I built a 2 car with 14 foot ceilings. I have a Greg Smith lift that raises the bottom of the lift over 6 feet, so I an walk all around with out banging my head. Not only is it great for maintenance but the car is out of the way where it can't be damaged by clutter in the garage.
