I have a69 firebird with 350 2bbl carb. I replaced it with a 4bbl edelbrock and polished edelbrock intake. The carb wont open all the way . Is the linkage on 4bbl carbs longer and what parts do I need to fix the linkage?

You can either find the correct bracket or customize the bracket you have so that the carb opens up all the way. Your cable is just mounted a little too far forward.

You have to use the 2bb bracket on the 4bb manifold and make a short link out of sheet metal, or find a 4bb throttle cable like I did.
