Just read plowmans post regarding storage bag. Prior to april this year I stored my firebird for 18 months the same way he is thinking. Up off the garage floor, tires removed. When I got it out this spring the control arm bushings were squeaking like crazy! The suspension parts are all new and it was quiet when I put it to bed. Did I do something stupid? When I put it up this year Im considering leaving the wide ovals on and just going out to the garage letting the car run for awhile and moving it up and back every 2 weeks or so. Any opinions on this? Can I get away with this strategy? Thanks!! www.geocities.com/djr7102/car1.html
jack it up by the arms and axle instead of the frame.
if it is still squeaking right now, try loosening all the bolts for all bushings, and drive it around the yard over some bumps, then tighten them again.
