I have a 67 Bird with mayfair maize paint. It has standard buckets and standard doors. However, it has armrested rear inner quarters. Dash is painted black. Inner top of door, top of inner rear quarter and piece by package tray is painted mayfair maize (during repaint). Sadly, I can't remember if this supposed to be black or exterior color of car.
'67's have painted interior metal to match the interior of the car. So it would not be Mayfair. The interior color is generally a duller finish, something like a 60% gloss or so. The dash is even yet a duller (maybe 40%?) gloss. I think there is something regarding this in the FAQ's section of this site or on Vikki's site.
Look through the "on-line" car show pictures (also on htis site) for some good representations.

Agreed, even our 67 LeMans is the same, tops of doors are rear trim area are painted interior color. Still getting used to not having padded doors like the deluxe int. in the bird had. Just seems so different...
So our dash should be parchment? It's black now and I think it looks good. Also what color carpet should be with parchment seats? Currently have black.
No, parchment interiors had black trim, carpet, and belts. (including dash and interior tops of doors)
I think white and parchment were the only color interiors to use this two-tone analogy. Done well, they really look nice!

Just so you guys know..... I really do have a car. This is the first picture I have uploaded to site. Nothing too special.... just been a long process.
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but the 68 I am working on has the original Sea Mist Green exterior color on the top of the trim areas in the rear with a black interior.
I have no reason to believe it isn't the original interior paint, but was wondering is this correct for a 68?
