Can someone tell me what these three holes are for on s 69 Firebird door?

Thanks. I don't see them on my PHS but the door maybe from a different car. It did have the decore group but looks like the door edge guard were not part of it. I donnt think I want them on my car but I don"t want the holes either.

I have an NOS set if you decide you do want to add them. Both doors would have the holes if original to your car.

I have the steel edge guards as well on my 68. It's held with 3 screws but the top 2 are closer together.

I just checked my guards, they are '68, sorry.

The "repro" ones without tabs are not worth the money. Not sure if they are repro-ing correct ones.
