I've always wanted a Corvair and actually turned one down because I found the Firebird but I was going to get a whole car for that price! I still search Craigslist for them from time to time and the engines usually sell for $500 or less.... $1,500 seems a lot for an engine that looks like it was sitting for years...

I`ve always liked the styling of the later models...and the Monza version...convert. of course...Nader killed that car...when I arrived here in 68 you could buy them for $200 everywhere....
I really don't think it's worth $1,500 but what do you think?
