i might have found a 4-speed for my car. it is a saginaw from a 68 camaro, it has crossmember/mount, a brand new hurst competiton shifter assembly, and a kevlar clutch, he says it hasnt been used, he upgraded to a big block and this tranny wont handle what hes doing. the asking price is $550.......is that ok for a saginaw? they usually come w/o anything in this area for 75-200 and the shifter and clutch add up to about 300.

I would try and find a Muncie before settling for a Saginaw - just my opinion. It is a stronger unit.
