They called in muscle cars in the park. It was put on by a camaro car club. I jus wanted to go for spite mostly. The weather started out kind of dicey and didn't get any better. Ended up raining about half the day. Started the day with 7 cars. One broke down on the way and one other had a full tank gas leak before he left home and didn't want to chance it. I have no ws wipers and my headlights would light up before I left the driveway at dawn(they worked for the trip home. I don't know). Anway out of our little group we drove away with 3 trophies(two Firebirds and one chevy panel). Could've been a nicer day but it was fun to get out and go for a cruise with friends.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Thanks guys. My wife gave me so much greif on the way home because I didn't go up there to get the award. First off I figured there is no way a camaro club is going to award anything to a Firebird but when I heard them say 69 Firebird I knew it was for the other guy there that probably had about $50K in his car. When she came back carrying it all I could do is laugh while she was lovingly calling me a lazy [censored]. She says it's hers because she went and got it. I told her I'd have the plate on it changed to read second place wife award. That's funny, right? Women!!
Thanks for posting the pics Jeff. It was good meeting up with you and your wife. We had a pretty good time all in all.
What's with the coats? Temp dip down to 60F? How bout exporting some of your heat for some tar sand! I was in San Fran once and it was 50F and I was wearing just shorts and a t-shirt. People thought I was nuts. You have not been cold till you have experienced -40C and you get stuck in the snow and have to walk 1.5 hours back to civilization. I digress...
Nice to see a good turn out!

Ya know us fancy nancys out here in Cali Gus, a few drops of rain and sub 75 degree weather and we get our panties in a twist

Likewise Bob, we'll have to make it out to the bay sometime.

Second place wife!!! Too funny. So would a second place wife mean that a first class misstress beat her out? LOL I would have had it done and not told her til I gave her the trophy. But I am talking like a guy working on his second marriage. I'll find a way to screw this marriage up to.
Nice to see more than 1 bird at a car show. Glad to here someone in a pontiac get a trophy at a normal car show. It usually goes to a camaro or mustang at the ones I have attended here locally.
Gus, couple of drops of liquid sunshine and we tend to melt like cotton candy down here in the land of good and plenty. It might have dipped down to 60* or so. BURRRRRRR........ Told my wife that it might be time to throw the WS wipers in the trunk just in case something crazy like this happens again.
