I can't believe nobody else makes Firebird interior seat kits. Its about time someone offers original comfortweave covers. Looks like I will purchase some original material and spend the big bucks for a local shop to stitch them up.
Let's share the seamstress costs. I'm ready to do the same here with my teal interior.

I had a full set made about six years ago. I was able to find original red Comfortweave and madrid vinyl at SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon. I then had Ron Fryer at Fryer's Auto Uphostery in Washington make them for me. The bad news is that I've heard that SMS may have limited colors of Comfortweave available and someone may have mentioned that Fryers has since changed hands. The bottom line is that I really like the way the orginal materal looks.
Legendary also makes FGF interior kits I beleive. From everyone I have ever talked to regarding interiors, almost ALL of them claim Legendary is by far the best in the business and they are pretty much inline with PUI pricing...
I just looked at Legendary's website. They don't have anything listed for fgf. Only GTO/LeMans in the Pontiac lineup.

Legendary did let me know that they plan to make Firebird interiors, but it could be a long wait. I did use a local shop when repairing my 70 TA drivers seat. He basically did it all with the sms material but it was expensive. Total cost was $750 including all materials and labor, thats one seat.
This time around I am thinking about purchasing new PUI covers and then have him stitch in sms comfortweave for just the buckets and leave the back simulated.

I got mine from Classic. It is from Distinctive Industries http://www.distinctiveindustries.com/firebird1.html Mine is the fake comfortweave and the guy that installed them said they were pretty good quality.
